In 2016 Horsforth in Bloom applied to the Housing Association Planning, Leeds City Council for a grant to provide trees and bulbs around the King George Road and St James Drive areas.
The application was granted and we started planting trees and bulbs around those areas.
Comment from local resident – ‘ as a resident of King George Road, I’d like to say thanks and I’m looking forward to spring – with my camera in hand.’
