This area is to the side of the ‘Diamond Jubilee’ gardens and faces onto the Horsforth Town Council car park. The Jubilee gardens do have a private contract in existence for the upkeep of the front of what is the Brownlee Stone Centre and generally it is kept well.
There is some conjecture on occasions regarding the side aspect, as to who has the responsibility to maintain it. As a gesture of good will, we have looked at, on occasions, to keep the weeds down.
